Precast Flooring

The Precast Flooring Committee has made great strides in the area of safety over the past two years. The setting up of the Construction Industry Group Precast Safety Committee saw representatives of suppliers, main contractors, professionals and the HSENI come together to discuss and agree ways the safe manufacture, delivery and placing of precast concrete elements can be guaranteed. The Committee are working with Main Contractors and Designers to formulate a number of key protocols that will greatly improve safety safety in the handling and placing of precast concrete elements.
